1. Slow Acceleration 
You can expect a 0-60 mph time of about 9.4 seconds. The 2025 Honda HR-V is equipped with a 2.0-liter, 158-hp four-cylinder engine with a continuously variable automatic transmission.

2. No Hybrid Variation 
Unfortunately, there is no hybrid version of the 2025 Honda HR-V and it doesn’t appear that there will be one coming anytime soon, or at least this year. As most cars from different manufacturers are shifting to a more modern electric focus, the Honda HR-V is still a gasoline-only vehicle for now.

3. Fuel Economy 
Some would say that the fuel economy could be better since the all-wheel-drive 2025 Honda HR-V gets 27 mpg in combined city/highway. This falls short of some of its highest competitors like the Kia Sletos at 29mpg and the Toyota Corolla Cross at 30mpg.
